AR Star of the Week

Congratulations to Maximiliano Vasquez, our AR STAR of the week! Max is a 2nd-grade student in Ms. Calder's bilingual class.  He loves to read anything that has to do with the ocean! He's very interested in all sea life, such as bull sharks, great white sharks, crabs, fish, octopuses, seaweed, seahorses and so much more. He enjoys visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium to get hands-on experience with what he's learning in his books. Reading is not easy for Max and requires a lot of hard work that he is committed to doing.  He comes to the computer lab every morning with a smile and takes lots of AR quizzes. He's engaged in reading for 96min. a day and has an average comprehension of 90.5%. WOW! Great job Max! We are proud of your perseverance in reading, keep it up!
